Loos
In 1865, Philipp Loos founded Loos Boilers
in Neustadt, Germany. Having moved first to Offenbach am
Main and then Gunzenhausen and Bischofshofen, LOOS has
supplied almost 100,000
industrial boiler systems to more
than 140 countries since then. Sales activities abroad are
supported by subsidiaries and branches in 11 countries and
representative agents over almost the entire globe.
Today approx. 1.300 boiler systems are manufactured each
year in the various production facilities of LOOS INT'L in
Germany and Austria.
Condensing boiler technology does not only use the
tangible warmth of the heating gas – it also makes partial
use of the evaporation warmth within the water vapour. In
comparison with conventional heating boilers with normal
calorific value usage, the use of condensing engineering
can reduce fuel usage and emissions by more than 10%.
Natural gas benefits
condensing engineering
If the characteristic data relevant for condensing
engineering derived from standard fuels are compared,
natural gas offers the best usage potential. Natural gas
contains the highest levels of water and has the highest
waste gas dewpoint.
